Welcome to Live Music Tutor the world’s best live, interactive, most complete online platform built for musicians, students, and enthusiasts! If you are interested in becoming an instructor and joining our global community, you will be required to complete the following process! We screen all of our instructors to help ensure the safety of our community as well as the quality of services that we provide.
Complete the Instructor Application
There is a $10.00 charge for instructors only that will include all processing fees and a background check by Trusted Employees, a third party provider.
Accept the Terms of the Instructor Agreement
After you sign into your account, you will be prompted to review and accept the terms of the Instructor Agreement. This will also include code of conduct, pay information etc.
Complete Your Profile
To be considered active within our community for schools, individual private lessons, and master classes/clinics, you must complete your instructor profile that includes a picture, your bio, and a short welcome video highlighting what you can offer. These are essential tools to be active and to have success making money on our platform!
Complete a Background Check
Complete and pass an online background check and screening (USA applicants) or upload an Apostille Authenticated or notarized background check that includes a criminal check for vulnerable persons (international applicants, these must be translated into English and the translation notarized.)
Submit Your Payment Forms
Complete and submit the required W-9 form (USA applicants) and the direct deposit election form, to receive payment.

Change the world by teaching music lessons! Now that you have been selected to join our community, you are now eligible to be considered to teach in our client schools (private, public, virtual, religious based schools etc) across the United States, provide private lessons for individuals or small groups or conduct master classes/clinics to thousands around the world.
